Just like how Schuster Institute of Investigative Journalism is solely dedicated to race--of one group--w flagrant objectification of Asian female to boot on its website. In the meantime, reality shows us one representation in courier/gov/chain/department stores, exclusive scholarships with hundreds of millions in money going to one group, exclusive customer support teams, top companies who designate the "black experience" w no other experiences such as white, Latino, Asian, Jewish, adoptee, mixed-race, etc experiences. Only "black experience" is recognized and acknowledged in the WORKplace. Reality check: black supremacy aka fist clenched black power as was emailed to me by stranger/con artist.
Identity politics galore. Literally makes me queasy. As an intern'l adoptee exposed to both all-white suburbia and all black/brown foster care system--I CAN SAY W ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY, NEVER DID I THINK ABOUT RACE. What a small, shallow, backwards mind to harp on race when the opportunity to accept and co exist with others is made possible in the society you're grounded in, a free one. Having been one-of-a-kind all my life with no kin or even anyone who resembled me, I couldn't afford to wallow on race. Out of survival, I had to accept, adapt.

Black Americans believe they are owed reparations. Again I ask what did the Jewish ppl get for the holocaust? What did I get as international adoptee of unregulated adoption industry? The latter two more recent than slavery. Who would pay for the reparations? For how long would the reparations last? Conceivably it would be never-ending w each generation claiming they are owed reparations. What about states where slavery wasn't legal, like NY, which is also home to many immigrants and migrants who have no link to slavery, like myself.
