Migrants get more assistance than I do as a citizen! Billions have been spent on them (though probably much of it scammed). Several job posts on Indeed are open to Chinese and Spanish speakers only. Migrants should go upstate where there's next to zero social services like what they get in NY, or amenities like 24/7 MTA, and see the difference. Screenshots above: According to Spectrum survey, top concerns for NY'ers are "affordability, safety and mental health." Reflective of the city being hijacked by criminals who have made it all about them and for them. NY lost 480k residents in 2023 to other states like FL and TX. Everything is linked, make the connection. High utility bills, and probably other bills like water, along with fees. Influx of migrants who get more assistance and resources than Americans, CRIME (identity theft, stolen packages, fraud, scams, extortion—none of which are counted as crimes.) NY is not the same NY I've known it since early 2000's when I used to take the Greyhound bus from Rochester and Buffalo to visit. The streets are nearly empty with less ppl walking around, more homeless and visibly mentally deranged ppl on the streets, litter, and crime, which seems the worse I’ve ever seen it. I never noticed crime before in NY; never thought about it, but now it’s something I’m aware of when I’m walking around whether in Astoria, Manhattan, and certainly when I take the train. I’m alert, and sit/stand by the door, wait in the middle of the train platform and always by an Exit.
When I say less ppl walking around I mean in spots that tourists don't go. Times Square area is still packed with people, mostly tourists, but downtown at the Bowery last Wed was near empty. My friend said same, "less ppl." It's also different ppl, not the worldly, sophisticated NY'ers, but shady. When I worked at the driving school, I met many ppl who wanted to leave NY and were taking driving lessons so they could get around wherever they were moving to. When talking about driving package's and costs, I'd always ask why they wanted to leave in a non imposing way to see if it had to do with fraud, and most answered crime/NY has become less safe with a few ppl also mentioning delivery packages regularly stolen.

"Sex positivity" like "body positivity" is, for eg, notions of obesity as "bias" rather than humans naturally programmed to find that what's unhealthy instinctively repulsive unless you’re someone who has a fetish for that kind of thing. The street where the driving school is has two shops of stripper clothing. Again, a reflection of the illicit takeover of NY.

Pearl Milling Company is giving $1M to non profits solely focused on black females. A reminder of the billions received just for skin color, but for someone like myself who experienced just as much, if not more, injustices than a black man, nothing. DEI doesn't apply to me because I’m the wrong skin color despite that I was born orphan/foundling in 1980's S KR, adoptee from unregulated int'l adoption industry, survivor of child abuse, runaway, former foster kid who not once had a home, single family member. DEI is solely skin color.
